Net worth over time
Solid line is actual snapshots. Dashed line is a straight-line trend fitted through all of them, extended two months.

Growth snapshot

What it's made of
Latest balances, converted to AUD.
Saving your first million
Actual net worth to date, plus a projected path from today to $1,000,000, compounding an assumed annual return on top of ongoing monthly contributions — both worked out from your actual net worth and investment data (time-weighted portfolio return, whole-net-worth Savings), editable if you want to test a different assumption.
Savings rate by period
Savings ÷ income, per audit period, straight from your Savings Rate tab. Green bars are periods you saved money; red bars are periods you spent more than you earned.
Savings vs. Expenses
A different way to read the same money: for every $1 you spent, how many $ did you save?
Income
Weekly income
Take-home pay, weekly. Cumulative line resets 1 Jul — Australian financial year rollover.
Where your gross pay goes
Take-home, tax withheld, and super contributions as a share of total gross pay, summed across all recorded pay periods.
Cash in vs. market movement
Per-period portfolio change, split into new contributions vs. pure market movement.
Income diversification
Total recorded gross pay by employer, all-time.
Income by employer over time
Full history of gross pay per employer, since your earliest recorded pay slip.
Income vs. expenses
Whole-net-worth income and expenses per recorded period (Savings Rate tab) — income shown as what came in, expenses as what went out, side by side.
Where your money goes
Income split into what was spent vs. saved, and how much of that saving went into investments (vs. building up cash/super elsewhere).

Performance at a glance
Portfolio value vs. contributions
Gold line is your current holdings' real daily market value. Dashed line is what you've actually put into those specific holdings (buys minus sell proceeds, exact transaction dates) — scoped to match, so money spent on tickers you've since sold off doesn't distort the comparison. Note: around 24 Jun–1 Jul both lines briefly drop to $0 — that's real, not a bug. GGBL, SEMI and GNDQ were all fully sold off within days of each other during the restructure, and the rest hadn't been bought yet, so your current holdings genuinely were worth nothing for about a week before being rebuilt.
Cumulative return
Time-weighted return: chains together day-to-day price performance and deliberately strips out contributions, so adding cash never moves this number — only the underlying holdings' actual performance does, regardless of portfolio size. Dashed lines are benchmark indices for comparison, each rebased to 0% from the same start date as your portfolio.
Money-weighted return
Modified Dietz return from portfolio inception, tracked day-to-day off the same real market values as Cumulative Return. Unlike that chart, this one counts contribution timing on purpose — it answers "how has my money actually grown", not "how did the investments perform" — so adding cash moves this number; Cumulative Return is unaffected by it.

Live data, fetched directly from your Google Sheet's "Net worth", "Income", "Savings Rate", "Portfolio" and "Portfolio Activity" tabs each time this page loads. Growth-rate, drawdown, trend-line, savings-rate-average, pay-breakdown and cost-basis figures are calculated in your browser from the raw numbers. If a chart looks wrong, your sheet's column layout may have changed — check the browser console (View → Developer → JavaScript Console) for details.
